Important: This must be done in conjunction with converting Pyre 0.8, nemesis, and spatialdata to Python 3.

Level of difficulty

Easy for Pylith and spatialdata; likely intermediate to expert for Pyre 0.8/nemesis. The Python code for Pyre should convert easily, but there are hand-built C bindings for MPI in Pyre for nemesis.
