When you restart the Milter and Postfix gets a 'connection refused' temporarily, it fails to serve the SMTP client (unless
milter_default_actionis set toaccept).For zero-downtime restarts / upgrade rollovers the
MilterServercould use the 'reuse port' socket option.See e.g.: uWSGI: The Art of Graceful Reloading.
