Issue Summary

Is redash working to be compliant with the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative's latest WCAG recommendations?

It is a best practice to ensure that people with permanent, temporary or situational disabilities is able to use redash.

Having an accessibility statement or policy would be useful. Even simply knowing if it has been run through https://accessibilityinsights.io or similar tools.

At Databricks we recently completed a WCAG assessment for OSS Redash. There's also an effort afoot to monitor accessibility with automated tools going forward. Thankfully, most concerns are addressed defacto by antd (the component library used by Redash).

It would be good for this to be included in our readme.md

Because accessibility is an ongoing concern I'm not sure what other criteria are needed to close your issue.

Thanks @susodapop

To properly close this issue, would be great to see:

  • a description added to the readme
  • an accessibility statement added to the footer and a page here https://redash.io/accessibility
  • an accessibility tag added to the issue queue
  • a description somewhere for how you are testing for accessibility
  • CI integration with axe would be great (we are using it with pa11y)
