This issue is to track GA of the .NET API to track performance monitoring. The release is scheduled for the 3.0.0 version.
This issue tracks the addition of the manual API such as StartTransaction. Which is already available on nuget in the alphas.

Alphas for the core Sentry .NET package and for ASP.NET Core that creates a transaction automatically already exist.
