It would be very good to also support XeLaTeX by the new LNI style. With this branch I add polyglossia as the alternatives for inputenc and bable. Furthermore the microtype features supported for XeLaTeX are enabled.
Currently I have the issue, that
ßis replaced bySSin thelni-author-template.tex. Maybe someone knows, which package is producing this.
