Map organizations to the accounts #877
Comments
@Ainali the government organization/agency a GitHub organization (not user, though they share the same namespace) corresponds to should be indicated in the the GitHub organization's profile, see https://github.com/github/government.github.com/blob/gh-pages/.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md and that info is available via the GitHub API eg https://api.github.com/users/cifasis which I suspect could be correlated with info in Wikidata to associate a GitHub user/org with an item with good accuracy. I did this manually with https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q77084720 😄 If above is not helpful, could you give an example of what you'd like to see included in |
This list of accounts is really impressive, but since they aren't mapped to which organization they belong to, it's hard to reuse the data in any kind of automated way (like batch importing it to Wikidata). Can it be added as a key for each account?
