Value Prop

GitHub Apps can be installed on an Enterprise account and granted new Enterprise permissions. These permissions allow the app to manage the enterprise object via REST APIs and GraphQL. This includes the creation of organizations, managing membership via SCIM or invitations, and setting policies on the enterprise.

Expected Outcome

Supporting Enterprise management by GitHub Apps helps administrators move off of PATs (Classic) and OAuth apps, and supports more reliable and secure automation patterns.
