Removed three smoke test workflows that validated AI engine functionality (Copilot, Claude, Codex). These workflows ran validation tests every 12 hours to verify tool availability, MCP server connectivity, and basic engine operations.

Changes

  • Removed workflows: smoke-copilot, smoke-claude, smoke-codex (both .md and .lock.yml files)
  • Documentation: Removed workflow entries from agent factory status page and blog post examples
  • Labels: Removed smoke-copilot label from workflow automation taxonomy

Known Impact

CI logs test at .github/workflows/ci.yml:780 references smoke-copilot as test data and will need updating or graceful degradation handling for missing workflows.

💡 You can make Copilot smarter by setting up custom instructions, customizing its development environment and configuring Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Learn more Copilot coding agent tips in the docs.
