It would be great to be able to see who is view/using my shared running workspaces and to be able to even chat with them!

My primary use case at the moment is for using Gitpod for conducting remote software engineering programming tests (see #6300) but I could see this being applied for folks wanting to confirm with others that they are done with the workspace or not, collaborating on code changes, etc.

I could see this being exposed as a Gitpod specific VSCode extension (JetBrains Plugin too once applicable). Alternatively having support for chat extensions that integrate with Slack, Discord, or other services might be nifty too but that seems a bit separate (currently I could not find any extensions that work in the browser based VSCode).

Thank you.
