minor issue with Launcher on Ubuntu #32
Comments
Also, there aren't any error messages when I start Parlatype from the terminal. |
Thanks for your bug report! The desktop environment is Unity, do you have the official version from Ubuntu repos or something else? Is it always labelled "406.mp3", no matter which file is open or even if no file is open? I can't reproduce this here on Ubuntu 16.04. Did you try removing the launcher and adding it again? |

Hello, thanks for creating this software! I've found it very useful.
I am using Parlatype 1.5.4 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I originally installed it from the PPA.
I added Parlatype to the launcher, and it says "Parlatype" when I mouse over it. When I click it, however, it creates a duplicate Parlatype icon in the taskbar. When I mouse over this duplicate icon, it says "406.mp3" (see screenshot), which is a file I previously transcribed with the program. It also says "406.mp3" in the top left corner of the screen (near File, Edit, Help) instead of "Parlatype".
I've tried reinstalling it but that hasn't resolved the issue. Any idea what might be causing this behavior?
