Any plans to include BLE in your power consumption tests?
I think BLE can be more power efficient for some scenarios for short distance transmissions.
And LoRa as well. Deep sleep - wake - LoRa send - Deep sleep can also be more power efficient than ESP-Now.

@mrdc Thanks. I have in my mind to do some equivalent tests with BLE, but hadn't thought about LoRa (I don't have any LoRa devices). I'm not sure when I will get to continuing these tests - but hopefully within the next few weeks. I will keep this as an open issue till I manage to complete the BLE tests.
I also want to test the effect of changing the txpower settings for espnow (and wifi) and compare power consumption when receiving large blocks of data for espnow and wifi (eg. for OTA updates).
