General

  • My feature does not exist in the latest version of Nexterm.
  • I have checked that my feature has not been suggested by anyone else.

Your Idea

Unified identities for group of servers.
I see identities are being created in separate way (own table or something) I would love to see this as a feature where users can add identities separately and be able to manage them. and be able to refer them when creating new servers.

luckily I saw this and now I'm gonna be able to use API to create multiple server while referring to the identity I've seen pushed via API.

Are you suggesting adding a credentials selector? Like a personal vault?
That's a good idea! If @gnmyt hasn’t thought about it, I can take care of it. :)

thanks @Snox-dev1. yeah like a selector.
These are few suggestions :

  • Identity might have a naming/ref convention
  • Select identity should exist when creating and updating a server
  • View to manage identities
  • Identities might be shared with other users (this sharing convention is not yet introduced I think but would be wise to think about it while implementing this feature)
