email notifications depending on action

It would be great if there would be more control over when i want to be notified about by mail ...

At the moment i can chose between (Always | OnMention | Never)

It seems to me that this setting only applies to repositories i am watching. So, the suggestion takes this as an asumtion.

It would be nice if one could choose notifications preference based on the actions which cause the notification (the following list might miss some useful actions as well as it might be too detailed in some regards). One should not only think about developers POV but also quality and project management who need a small subset of notifications.

(indented means can only be active/activated if parent is active)

Would very much appreciate this feature myself. Only need to be notified about pull requests that I am supposed to review or that are assigned to me. Thanks to all working on this awesome project!

I specifically want notifications only for releases.

We definitely need more control over notifications.
