Actually, in my case on MacOS and iOS clients when I add new command:

  • MacOS client: I have to reopen chat to see new command in menu list
  • iOS client: I have to close Telegram app and open it from scratch - then I can see new command in menu list

I don't know why it works this way :/

As summary:

  • MacOS client retrieves commands when you open a chat
  • iOS client retrieves commands when you open an app from scratch

No, my command list shows support in groups, but not in private chats
