What version of Hugo are you using (hugo version)?

$ hugo version
hugo v0.128.2-de36c1a95d28595d8243fd8b891665b069ed0850+extended darwin/arm64 BuildDate=2024-07-04T08:13:25Z VendorInfo=gohugoio

Does this issue reproduce with the latest release?

Yes.

I couldn't find the static website container in Azure as Hugo deploy describes: https://gohugo.io/hosting-and-deployment/hugo-deploy

Seems Azure has a new service "Static Web Apps" and they have a detailed doc: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/static-web-apps/publish-hugo
