import file to Favorites doesn't work

I am using Ubunte 18 version.
If I import a list of words to Favorites using import, it showed: Data parsing error at the lower left corner.

But same word list file can be import to history. then there is no option of Batch adding from history to Favorites...

Could you help me out here? Thanks a lot

Is the file in XML markups? For example a list without depth looks like

<root>
<headword>word1</headword>
<headword>word2</headword>
</root>

I guess the file is txt file ,with each line is a word.

this kind of format can not be imported into favorite.
