Hi everyone! 👋 I am @gonzalo-bulnes, Simple Token Authentication's main author and maintainer. I am also the person behind the email address in the Code of Conduct; should you you encounter any instance of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior in in the context of this project, I encourage you to use it to contact me. I've been writing and maintain Simple Token Authentication on my own time (seven years and counting!) and I've always intended for it to be a focused gem with a stable API that is easy to get started with provided you are somewhat familiar with Rails. I've learnt a lot about trade-offs along the way, made mistakes, and I'd like this project to provide the same opportunity to others. I am currently looking for people interested in getting involved with the governance and maintenance of Simple Token Authentication, and for ways to work together. Given the moderate but significant size of the community using this gem, I think there is a reasonable amount of opportunities for people:
I know you've read the Code of Conduct 😉, so needless to say you're welcome no matter who you are or what your level of experience is. This isn't a job ad, there is room for everyone interested and we all set our own goals. Please feel welcome to express interest, or share your thoughts by opening new discussions in this forum if you've ideas! 🌱 |
