Using RecordProperty without XML output

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a test and call 'RecordProperty'
2. This works when using XML output just fine
3. Without XML output (writting to stdout) this information is lost

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Using RecordProperty without XML output doesnt appear to have much use (may be 
wrong).
I appreciate it was added specifically for XML output.
Im looking for a consistent way to log a bit of extra information when a test 
is run (e.g. a cpu 
performance test - saying 'UserTimeCPU = x"
Something like a printf would do the same job for me, but when I swap to XML 
output I have to 
rely on RecordProperty instead - so Im doing 2 different bits of code for 2 
different outputs. 
Might be cool if RecordProperty acted differently depending on output, since 
its a method 
related to output.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux, gtest-1.3.0
