The idea is a new page similiar to this...

Image

where each building has a row similar to how every event has a row in the event page. It would show

  • the name of the building
  • the times it is open for the day
  • possibly a button linked to the builiding's page (jenks website)

When clicked or tapped it would expand to show

  • Hours for the week
  • A dropdown for the services the building has (which would then expand into the hours for that service or links to the service such as a link to the study rooms in jenks)
Which would then possibly look like this...

I have one concern which is that this would require our building/office managers to maintain this information in multiple places and could become quite inconsistent if not kept up. Do we have buy-in from administration or building managers who want this to happen?

I do wonder if there's a better way to show this information both on the WWW site and the 360 site but have it maintained in one central place rather than double-entry.

@bennettforkner We're possibly having a meeting on Thursday with Scheduling (Michelle and Austin) and Karl Hahn to discuss whether this seems feasible.

After talking with Ross it seems the best way to do this is to make building exterior objects in 25Live like this...

That way we could still use the 25Live API to pull the information.

After meeting with Michelle and Austin, this is probably is unlikely to be implements as we originally thought. However, some of these ideas may be pulled into updating the Events feature on 360
