FYI 29.1 has more readable and shorter logs! Have you tried the --no-timeout option? Some people are finding that the preparation phase is taking over an hour for some reason. --no-timeout extends that to one day. |

Hello,
I am currently utilizing this script to facilitate an upgrade of my Mac fleet to macOS 13.2.1, however, many devices are encountering an issue. I gathered the log file from a user locally and it seems the download completed, but there was a timeout error that I'm not sure how to troubleshoot. The log file is attached from one user impacted.
erase-install.log
I will continue connecting with users to gather more log files to see if they differ in their installation failure, but just the one for now. I cannot pull logs from Jamf for this because they're being truncated due to the verbose output hitting Jamf's limit. Also, this was executed with 29.0 of erase-install.sh. I have upgraded my policy to use 29.1, but haven't had anyone rerun the policy with the updated package just yet. Will update with that once it has occurred.
Many, many thanks for any help that can be provided! This script is brilliant and I appreciate your making of it.
