As part of #3127, it might be useful to open up queryable information a little more.

  • tags
  • number of team members
  • giving
  • receiving
  • /on/* (e.g., npm, others as they are added)
  • ignore /on/* projects that are "has not joined"

Target audience might be people looking to join an open project rather than those looking to donate, but could serve both.

+1 from #4460 (comment) for dealing with traffic:

Rather than listing all the teams on the homepage, maybe we should beef up the search capabilities with additional filters?
