Used for new features in Teleport, improvements to current should be #enhancements
What would you like Teleport to do?
Currently, in the Teleport Slack integration, whenever a user raises an access request, a corresponding Slack message is generated for approval. However, there is a limitation: the Slack messages only display roles but do not include the node names associated with the access request.
Adding node names to the Slack messages generated by the Slack integration plugin is best.
Ensure the Slack message includes both roles and the specific servers/resources being requested.
Current Behavior:
When a user submits an access request, the requested roles are visible in the Slack message.
Node names (or specific resources being requested) are available in the initial request but are not shown in the Slack notification.
Use Case:
Improved Context: Adding node names will provide approvers with immediate visibility into what specific access is being requested.
Enhanced Security: Approvers can make informed decisions rather than approving access to entire roles blindly.
What problem does this solve?
Allow teams to quickly identify which nodes are involved without needing to navigate elsewhere.
Improve incident resolution time by ensuring all relevant information is readily available in Slack notifications.
If a workaround exists, please include it.
