I've had the same issue for a week or two. Old saved sessions are there, but nothing is listed in current or recent.

I am unable to recreate this sorry.

@dhruvhalwasiya @talmagal @cldershem can you give me a bit more information about the extension version you are using, the version of chrome you are using, and your operating system?

if any of you are good with computers, could you try doing some debugging for me?
if you navigate to chrome://extensions/ and then click on 'background page' under the great suspender, and then look at the 'Console' tab of the Developer Tools window to see if any errors are being reported.
also, if you click on the 'Application' tab of Developer Tools, and then navigate to IndexedDB -> tgs -> gsCurrentSessions you should be able to browse the raw data of your sessions.

The problem persisted through several restarts, eventually I gave up and reinstalled the extension. That seemed to fix it and I haven't observed the bug again. Because I've reinstalled, I can't really be much help with the debugging.

The bug i can tell you is from something in the extension folder itself. Upon reinstall it will work properly but if you copy the old stuff back into the folder it gives the same behaviour. Ill help with debugging

Windows 8.1 X64
Version 65.0.3325.162
TGS V6.30

Saw no errors
Cant see anything under IndexedDB>tgs>gscurrentsessions only thing i can see is the gssuspended tabs
Anyway to pull the data from files in the extension folder or could it be caused by high amount of tabs in the current session?
If i clear tab history it works normal but then i loose all the old Recent sessions

Update:
i think something corrupted with tab history in the chrome-extension_klbibkeccnjlkjkiokjodocebajanakg_0.indexeddb.leveldb folder

@talmagal i doubt it would be caused by a large number of tabs. but a corruption sounds likely.
i don't suppose you're able to send me a copy of the corrupted files by chance? if i can see what it looks like in a corrupted state, then i will be able to make sure i handle that case in a future release and recovery from it nicely without the user having to clear their history or reinstall..

i can archive it the only issue is accidentally lost one of the files messing with copy and pasting and moved one and the app made it disappear was named 017597.ldg or something
corrupt.zip

Hmmm.. i tried using your files, but it treated it the same as it would if the folder didn't exist at all. ie. the sessions screen looks normal with a single 'current session' and no entires for 'recent sessions' or 'saved sessions'.
Not sure where to go from here sorry.
