Lord, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee

my heart is sore pained within me

they soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel

who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants
who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings,
who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast
who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain

who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee
whose feet they hurt with fetters
whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee
whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood
whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the Lord

why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God

why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever
why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom
wickedness is in the midst thereof
will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
wilt thou not revive us again
wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah
with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm
with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak
with gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought
with hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth
with long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation
with my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth
with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations
with my whole heart have I sought thee
with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity
with the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright,
with the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward
with their mouth they speak proudly
with trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King
