Above-Line-Text dissapears when including NABC code

I have some antiphons like this in my document:

I've tried to include some adiastematic neums to this score, but when I include the NABC code, the Above-Lines-Text dissapears:

Is this expected? Can I have both Above-Lines-Text and NABC neums in the same staff?

It looks like NABC co-opts the above lines text feature, so the way it is right now you can't have abovelinestext and NABC at the same time. This is not a bug per se, but it's probably a good enhancement.

This is probably the root cause of #1547 too.

If there were both at the same time, which one would go on top? Or would it need to be user-settable?

It seems to me that alt should be above nabc, since nabc has a closer tie to the square notation and lyrics than the alt does. And nabc would typically be the entire length of the chant and alt is a more sparse element.
