Overview

We need to create a post-onboarding survey for the TWE mentors to assess the extent to which they understand their role as a mentor, gaps they experienced during the onboarding, and perceived challenges or barriers to being an effective mentor.

Here is a draft of the survey for the Mentor Intake Survey. Feel free to review, revise, and/or provide feedback. The onboarding is supposed to happen Tuesday July 5, but I have not heard whether that is still happening or not. In any case, it would be good to still get it reviewed so that we can import it into a Google Form. Thanks!

• Finalized informed consent documents and intake survey items for the wiki (mentor view).
• Need to create a GitHub issue for finalizing exit survey research plan, updating wiki, etc.
• Need to create a GitHub issue for analysis of intake surveys once all survey responses have been collected (N = 5).

During the UX lead/PM meeting on July 6, I did the following to prepare for the mentor onboarding:

• Took the Google Form that @sniux created and revised it, including doing the following:
  • Numbered the questions
  • Added mentor # to the top of the survey
  • Added informed consent question
  • Revised (with the help of Bonnie ) a few of the knowledge items to align with mentor onboarding
  • Added an open-ended question at end to end on a positive note (per Bonnie's recommendation)
  • Added instructions to the knowledge items and removed text-only items (to save space)
