Overview

We need to update the HfLA Website team roster in order to identify the currently active volunteers
The website-write team currently has too many inactive members, or members who are no longer a part of hackforla.

Active Member: Someone who has made a contribution to the website repository or wiki within the last 3 months
Contribution: Code Contribution, Comment Contribution, Wiki Edit Contributions

Action Items

  • Post the link to roster in the team meeting Zoom
  • Ask the attendees to highlight their names and status on the Roster Google Sheet
  • Repeat the above steps for 3 weeks
  • Change the status to 'Inactive' for any volunteers that do not highlight their names on the Google Sheet after 3 weeks
  • We need to update the membership listing on the Hack for LA Website project page
  • The member list needs to be manually trimmed such that it reflects current active members.

We've made the announcement on Sunday three weeks in a row. We need to do this announcement for the Tuesday meeting as well.

We are missing slack ids for some active members, please open the roster and add your slack id. See tutorial :
How to find a Slack user ID
Click on a user name within Slack.
Click on "View profile" in the menu that appears.
Click the more icon "..."
Click on "Copy Member ID."

We recently changed from "Project Leadership" to "Current Project Team" on the project detail pages. Let's have a discussion on if we want to change that for projects that have higher churn and how we would that.
