Option to not display window at startup #253
Comments
You know you can put tray icons in the hidden tray, right? |
That is the current solution, yes. It's probably not on your priorities list, and that's totally understandable. What about the startup issue though? |
Actually, I'm assuming you're on Windows 10. If so, you have complete control over what icons are even allowed to be shown in system tray. Open up 'All Settings' (Win + I is a nice shortcut). Search for taskbar and select taskbar notification area, then click 'Select which icons appear on the taskbar.' You can use that to turn off the hain icon permanently from the task bar (or any other app for that matter). |
Oh, thank you. However, in my reply I was referring to the second issue as mentioned in my original post. I made a shortcut to Hain in the Startup folder, and it pops up every time I log into my Windows account. I was wondering if there's a way to tackle that. |
Ah yes, that is a bit annoying. There isn't currently any way to disable that. |
Thank you for your help, Clint. Anticipating your new release. |
Whenever applicable, would love to see this option in a future build. Hain is officially my go-to launcher on Windows. Also, it's quite annoying having Haim popup every time I log into my Windows account. Can we have a "hide on startup" option as well?
