Other modules in `algorithms` use the singular form for module names that refer to objects, so let's keep it consistent.

Add a new
Approxtrait, to provide a more convenient API for approximating objects, bringing it in line with other modernized modules withinalgorithms. Also includes some other, more minor, cleanup.
