possibility to deactivate "notification message"

Hi,

first of all I would like to say thank you very much for this great extension.

I would like to request an additional function, please make the function "notification message" switchable. Currently it is only possible to choose the position, but i would like to disable the function.

I like the standard notification from gnome, when I miss the popup I still see the dot next to the clock and see the message on klick.

Maybe there is also a workaround to disable the function.

I thought that unite suppressed the point, but it's due to the new Gnome version.
Now I found the extension "Notification Counter" and that all I need.
