If arranged to the left the window icons do not hide for some GNOME only programs like evince, nautilus, software, etc...

Other programs like firefox and vscode play well with it.
The list of applications I noticed that did not behave well are

  • Evince
  • Nautilus
  • Gnome Software
  • Gnome Calendar
  • Gnome Tweaks

Other applications seem to perform well.
This issue does not exists if I switch the window icons to the right.
Gnome: 40.3.0
Unite: 54
The issue exists on both X.org and Wayland.
