Hi and thanks for this package! This is more of a question, not an issue. Is it possible to add metadata (like hostname, PID, etc.) to the lockfile? Do i Just write it like a normal file if so or is there a correct mechanism? Thank you

Hi! No, there is no mechanism to add metadata to the lockfile. If you mean the file used by interprocess lock, then probably you can try to write to it, but I would not be surprised if something went wrong.
Maybe you can try to make a wrapper, that saves the metadata in some companion file 🤔
