4 columns of great-grandparents not evenly distributed

I have a situation where 4 columns of great-grandparents / step-... are (content-wise correctly) displayed, but not evenly distributed, so that the 4th column is much smaller than the others. It seems to me that the first 3 columns each take ~30% of the available space whereas the 4th column only gets the rest of the available space, i. e. less than 10%. This issue may have gone unnoticed for years.
