The changes to the native form element in Chrome 32 appear to have introduced a minor cosmetic defect.

Happens on Chrome 32 on Mac OS X as well. (Version 32.0.1700.77 on OS X 10.9.1 specifically.)

No problem :)

I just removed the gradient from the input element as a workaround.

Seeing this as well. Seems to be only Chrome issue. Actual fix is that the linear-gradient needs a background-position, just like the sprite is getting. Currently it just uses the background-position of the sprite, which has -20px vertical, so that's causing the issue.
