A cursory glance at the documentation suggests that this feature is not supported. Is there a plan to support this in the future?

Details: What I want is for chosen to support arbitrary values to be entered in the text box even though the values are not present in the original options. This is useful in many cases where you are just suggesting values to the user, but you will not be able to suggest all the possible values. (For example, street name in an address form - you may be able to suggest a few options, but you cannot restrict the user to just the options you provided because you cannot be sure that you have covered all the possible street names in the area.)

Makes sense?

Currently, Chosen is build entirely as an enhancement on top of a select.

Anyway, closing it as duplicate of #5
