Currently Nomad Service Discovery is using task health to determine whether or not a service is healthy and should be returned by the API and in the Template helper.
It would be nice to be able to define a more granular health check. Likely this would use the check stanza like Consul health checks defined in Nomad.
Use-cases
Separating Nomad task health from readiness to receive traffic.
