Feature Request: AWS ECR lifecycle policies

Amazon recently launched lifecycle policies for EC2 Container Registry. A lifecycle policy is a policy to automatically cleanup images based upon one or more rules.

Is there any plan to add the support to Terraform?

The new aws_ecr_lifecycle_policy resource was previously merged in via #2096 and released in version 1.2.0 of the AWS provider and has been available in all releases since. Please see the Terraform documentation on provider versioning or reach out if you need any assistance upgrading.
