Feature Request:

@mention support

Description:

When the character @ is typed in a message, a menu should appear that allows the user to select who they are trying to mention. When selected, it should appear as @Name Here.

To select which user you want to mention, up/down arrow keys can be used, and ctrl+<tbd> to select.

Stretch Goals:

  • the mention appears a different color and/or bold
  • selecting the user from the dropdown not necessary if an exact match is typed
