读这本书，会反复代入我的少年时代。十几二十岁的时候，总要努力证明自己与众不同，书里的主人公是个结巴，于是索性寡言，“不被人理解成了我唯一的骄傲”。

本书的开端是二战末期，随时可能被战火焚毁的金阁寺，仿佛与我达成了秘约，和之一起赴死，反而给了丑陋的我生的期望。书里明亮的角色不多，城府的住持，对我种种过错只字不提，沉默才是权力拥有者最高级的绝杀；内翻足的柏木，外貌丑陋得更甚于我，却能够轻易摧毁美；连父亲母亲的形象，似乎也是干瘪而市侩的。 唯一的光亮，富家子鹤川，我和世间美好最紧密的连接，大学后与我渐生隔阂。直到他去世，我才意识到自己失去了什么。鹤川因情所困自杀，不堪的我还能顽强的活着，世间的事物似乎如此，美好往往脆弱。最后，我纵火烧了金阁，我理解这是毁掉了美对我的最后一丝羁绊，从此以后，我可以无所顾忌的恶了。

最后，本书作者三岛由纪夫一定是个变态，这些恶人的形象实在太过立体可信了（手动狗头）。
