Bug description

I'm unsure if this is just a me thing or its in any pack, but my villagers are rendering very weirdly, like they are chopped up. But when holding the villager it goes back to normal. In the creative menu its wonky, but in the inventory its fine. Not 100% sure if it does this behaviour in the inventory currently.
When on the hotbar it does the choppy thing but holding it goes back to normal then choppy after deselecting it.

Seems like it has an issue with EMF or ETF or both? Not really sure. Maybe Fresh animations?

Minecraft version

1.21

Mod version

1.1.15

Mod loader and version

Neoforge 21.0.147

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open world
  2. Search for a villager or obtain one
  3. It should be rendering weirdly in the creative menu and hotbar, except holding it.
  4. Unsure about inventory itself.

Expected behavior

Should be showing a complete villager while in hotbar or creative menu.

I am not able to reproduce your issue. Please check which mod causes the issue.

Got it, it's the connected textures mod https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ctm.

Another issue i just found is that the villagers/baby villagers eyes dont show up in any gui due to the Fresh animations texture pack without the connected textures mod, but is fine with the connected mod but does the choppy thing.

Without Connected Textures mod + Fresh animations:

Without either:

Issue appears to be an interaction between ConnectedTextureMod and Entity Model Features when using Fresh Animations resource pack (though others may also have this issue). depending on render path, the models may show up fine. The problem does not occur in the player inventory screen nor if the player is holding an item in hand.

Removing any one of the mods or the resource pack and re-launching the game will resolve the issue

Testing was done on Neoforge 21.1.51 using Minecraft 1.21.1 with all configuration options left at default values
EMF: 2.2.6
ETF: 6.2.5
Easy Villagers: 1.21.1-1.1.23
ConnectedTextureMod: 1.21-1.2.1+3
Fresh Animations Resource Pack: 1.9.2

Requirements:
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/entity-model-features
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/entity-texture-features-fabric
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/easy-villagers
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ctm
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/fresh-animations/files/5494142

Steps to setup for testing:
Ensure Easy Villagers, ConnectedTextureMod, ETF and ETM are installed
place chest
pick up villager or add from creative menu
open chest and put villager in chest
empty player inventory
save and exit and close the game

Steps to reproduce after setup:
launch the game
open the save
open chest and see the model

Caveats:
changing the resource pack while in game does not seem to trigger the model bug nor fix the model bug. I expect reloading resources may not rebuild the models in the same way. The game must be fully closed after making changes.

I am having this same issue on Forge 1.20.1 with the latest version of Easy Villagers available for that version.

I am using all the mods/resource packs listed in the comment above excluding ConnectedTexturesMod, but I am also using a bunch of other mods.

Just thought I'd report in case that information helps.
