Focus left on previous desktop when switching desktop with keyboard #14
Comments
Hello, here is a video of the bug, also with notepads. I am on 22H2 build 22631.1830. I'm unsure what information could be relevant for debugging. What can I provide? demo_bug_switching_desktop.mp4 |
thanks i will install the exact build and have a look |
Thanks, let me know if I can help in any way. |
I was wondering if you were able to reproduce the bug. |
No, I could not reproduce this bug. Please try unsintalling Power Virtual Desktops, I suspect it is still there for you. You may try to disable 3rd party applicatoins one by one to see which is the cause of said behavior? |
What do you mean by "Please try uninstalling Power Virtual Desktops, I suspect it is still there for you." The issue is caused by "Power Virtual Desktops" it is not happening without it. This is the issue tracker for "Power Virtual Desktops" right? I have this issue with an almost brand-new install as this is a new computer. |
Hey,
I found this app really useful, but I have an annoying issue that only happens when it is turned on.
I work mostly with the keyboard. When I'm typing in a window and changing a virtual desktop, I expect the focus to move to the window in the new virtual desktop and be able to type directly inside. However, the focus remains on the old window in the previous virtual desktop, and all keystrokes are reflected there instead. I need to Alt-Tab to restore the proper focus.
I'm running Windows 11 Insiders Beta channel. The installation was done two days ago.
