It's abandoned. The alternative is the OneDrive Integration. It connects to OneDrive and allows to import files

Just in case it wasn't noticed - Nextcloud improved policy regarding changes in core to ease app developers in maintaining compatibility with newer Nextcloud versions:

Sadly that is a one-way connection, you can import files from Onedrive but cannot write back.
