(CRC) Comparison between two ROMs or disc images

This depends on how far you wanna take it for the sake of rom kit. Maybe not an advanced asyncronus byte comparison like hex workshop or beyond compare but maybe something simple like comparing the two crc hashes of two ROMs or a feature to compare the files in two different sets of disc images. We could even directly compare disc author/mastering info as well for small changes (i.e, small changes in time stamps or a different master method for prototypes that are deemed to be identical).
