Add a menu action Tools > Run Diagnostics that would check various things to help you find why something might be wrong with your wallet. These could include things like:

• is the wallet connected to any peers?
• is it fully synced?
• does the transaction list in bitcoinj data match the one in Core Data on the Cocoa side?
• check the transaction list on an external web service, does it match what we have in the wallet?
