How to live reload popup list of file contents?

I would like to, at least, have a refresh button to show when devices are plugged in or not.

Well, removing an item seems simple:

dpg.configure_item(item=f"delete_{user_data[1]}", show=False)

Apparently removing the item through the callback updates the list.

This seems possible only because...

Of the following:

I disappeared the popup on the selection of the item. When I open it again, in the same session, the item is gone.

I am still struggling to live add an item. If I figure it out I'll post it here.
