Add Developer Guide to Param web site similar to Panel and hvPlot

Motivation

I would like to contribute to Param. The first thing I need to know is how to install for development. I cannot find a guide anywhere.

Thus I risk waisting time because I might not be able to install for development, install it in a way that causes issues or just cannot properly test the changes I make before creating the PRs.

Similarly a Developer Guide would be a sign that the project is welcoming contributions and is prepared to help new contributors.

Cannot find the Developer Guide?

What I did to get started with the code is

• Git clone the repo https://github.com/holoviz/param.git
• CD into the param folder
• Create and activate a virtual environment:
• Pip install for development: pip install -e .[all]
