Include functions to serialize and load index

Could the wasm bindgen be extended so that the functions implementing serialize / dumping / loading indexes are available in the JS package?

I am trying to do this myself but am having trouble compiling the library, so if you could help with this it'd be awesome.

@Uzay-G same question. Also would love an example that's more real-world to understand how to properly create features from text/strings and things like remove/update nodes, etc. Hoping we get some updates!
