Refresh causes a loss of the horizontal slider bar

Hi,
after pressing the Refresh button the horizontal slider bar disappears and some other unwanted effects happen - see the enclosed screenshots. Setting a filter and resetting it again makes the replied etc. hints on the right reappear but only till the next Refresh.

Could be caused by very long Subject lines?
