cmp preselect type

Is there a reason why in the source the cmp preselect mode have value none

nvim-cmp/lua/cmp/types/cmp.lua

Line 32 in ae644fe

None = 'none',

but the type is 'item' | 'None'?

because when settings the options like this

    opts.preselect = require("cmp.types").cmp.PreselectMode.None

I get this warning
