When editing an existing calendar entry in Humhub, the “Create Reminder” checkbox is automatically enabled, even if it was not selected when the entry was originally created. This behavior is problematic because users must remember to uncheck the box every time if no reminder is desired.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Create a new calendar entry and make sure that the “Create Reminder” checkbox is not selected.
  • Save the entry.
  • Open (edit) the same calendar entry again.
  • Observe that the “Create Reminder” checkbox is now selected.

Expected Behavior:

The “Create Reminder” checkbox should retain its original state. If it was not selected when the entry was created, it should remain unchecked when the entry is edited.

Actual Behavior:

The “Create Reminder” checkbox is automatically enabled upon editing, even if it was previously not selected.

System Information (if relevant):

HumHub Version: 1.17.0
Calendar Module Version: 1.7.3
Browser: Firefox (Chrome not tested)
